a little late....

So, I'm a little late at getting these posted... While Kris was on modified bed rest with the twins, Scott and I tried to visit with her and Gracie about once a week. Gracie loves Scott and I guess talks about him all the time. However, when Scott visits, he plays hard to get and seems more interested in her toys and her... she doesn't mind.. she follows him around like a puppy...

Anyway, one of the days, we took the kids to Chuck-e-cheese with Kris's mom and sister. I had not been to a c-e-c in a good 20+ years but this was a good trip for Scott. For starters, it was a Tuesday at lunch, not exactly a super crowded time, which is good when you have a toddler who runs! Scott really liked the games with steering wheels, the mini-carosouel, and the skeeball.... he especially loved skeeball once he figured out that mommy wanted to get the balls in the holes at the end... he thought it was much smarter to take the balls down there himself to get mommy the points! (Good thing it was only a Tuesday afternoon and we didn't get kicked out for letting our kids go crazy)

One thing Scott did NOT like... Chuck... they have a mechanical one far away from the games that sings a song every once in a while... Both Scott and Grace would look at that giant mouse like maybe they were seeing things... Kris and I tried to get the kids comfortable with it and tried to take a picture... you can see that did not go over well... later there was a man in a c-e-c costume that walked around.. Scott was comfortable enough to give him a "high 5" from the safety of mommy's arms, but that was about it.
