Sorry for the lack of posts.. but it has been rather uneventful really. We have started to finish the basement. Ryan's dad has been visiting us to do most of the work.. The progress is coming along great.. I'll post pictures a little later. Scott has had a runny nose for a few days now and since most of my play-date moms are pregnant... we have been trying to keep our germs to ourselves and have had to cancel a few fun times. Hopefully we are getting over it because one of my moms is about to give birth to twins very soon and we need to get our play-dates in with Gracie before then!
Since today was such a great day, we make a last minute decision to hit our local pumpkin patch... last year... we picked what should have been a great day but a storm was moving in very fast.. we picked out pumpkins, grabbed a few shots of Scott and made it back in the car just in time to miss the sleet!!!!

This year was much different... not only was Scott not walking a year ago... he now takes over! It was a great day to go.. since it's so early in the season, we were the ONLY family there... we got star treatment starting with our own personal HayRide. Scott had never been on a ride so we were not sure if he would like it or be scared... he loved it too much!!... he didn't want to get off when they stopped to deliver us at the pumpkin patch.. Since we were the only family, the drive just waited for us to take pictures and pick out our pumpkins so Scott was very drawn to the hay ride trailer while Mommy and Daddy picked out pumpkins and loaded them on the trailer with him. We did manage to draw him out for a few quick pictures.
Then the driver took us back to the front, and again Scott did not want to leave.. he kept sitting and waiting for the driver to come back...
The owners were very nice and even told us to let him crawl around with the small pumpkins and let him sit on the 'gator'. She even put the pumpkin next to him for the photo! While I paid.. she took Daddy and Scott for a ride on the gator.. again, he did not want to leave that. I think it just seals the deal that we will get Scott a battery operated car of some sort for a Christmas/birthday present this year... now we just have to agree on what one!

PS... I say "take 1" because we plan to go back closer to Halloween so Ryan and I can get our 'carving' pumpkins... (and because Scott had such a great time)
